Clear Creek Fire Mitigation completed a 3 acre fire mitigation project for a client building a new custom home in Littleton. This defensible space work was required as part of the Jeffco building permit process and signed off by the Jeffco defensible space inspector.
Work included mulching scrub oak on a steep hillside, removing and mulching tree limbs within 10 feet of the ground and clean up of trees previously felled by the excavation contractor. We performed this work safely, quickly and efficiently with chainsaws, track loader and professional forestry mulching equipment.
The Jeffco defensible space inspector was satisfied with the results and passed the defensible space permit. Most importantly, our customer is extremely happy to be one step closer to completing their custom home project.
Topsoil erosion is a major concern for sloped properties across the Colorado Front Range. To limit soil erosion, Clear Creek Fire Mitigation used professional forestry mulching equipment to scatter mulched wood across the ground to slow runoff water and minimize soil erosion.

Trevor was very easy to work with – punctual, honest, and hard working! He came out to the site to help with my “defensible space” for my new construction. He did an amazing job at a good price and finished on time for the price he bid! Will definitely be using him again this summer for more forest cleaning!! Highly recommend.
